City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 168 ~ Dress it up

This week at City Crafter Challenge Blog, Ros is our lovely host. She is challenging us to take any ordinary item and turn it into a beautiful project.

Dress it Up!

When Clare came back for summer break, we went thrifting together, she picked up this item and asked me to make her a beautiful jewelry box

the box cost only 1.50, in good condition and it is clean, just that we don't really like that Mr. Santa is delivering fish instead of presents... LOL!

as you can see, the fun started with paint, gesso, moulding gel....

and of course there were paper, printed images and masking involved in this project

I divided the inside into 3 section so Clare could organized her jewelry

come join us this week at

You really need to hop over to see the beautiful projects from the team, especially our Guest Star Ira, her project is just Stunning!
